Who we are

MYB Music & Stories is run by MYB Studio, the studio of Mourad Youssef Bouajaja. These terms cover membership on the website and in the MYB Music & Stories app. Purchases through Google Play or the App Store are also subject to that store’s purchase terms.

App access

New Apple and Android app accounts require a paid app membership for member-only listening and reading. The website's free welcome month does not unlock the apps.

Existing free app access is honored until its original end date. Signing in again, reinstalling, or switching devices does not restart or extend it. Existing subscriptions and trials already underway keep their agreed terms.

Google Play app membership is $3.99 per month as a US-dollar base price. The store shows your local price, applicable taxes, and renewal terms before purchase. The current iPhone release supports signing in with eligible app access but does not offer App Store subscriptions.

What the membership is

A website membership gives one person access to the member content available on this site. A paid app membership includes member content in the app and website access using the same MYB account. A website-only paid plan does not include app access. Membership is for personal, non-commercial listening and reading. Please don't copy, download, redistribute or re-upload the music, videos or writing.

Copyright and permitted use

The full Gharib album is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. Works in Mourad Youssef Bouajaja’s catalog are also registered with The Mechanical Licensing Collective (The MLC) and SoundExchange for royalty administration. These are separate from U.S. Copyright Office registration. Registration of additional releases is planned; this notice does not claim that every release is already registered.

Membership grants personal streaming and reading access, not ownership of the files or permission to download them. Unless we expressly authorize it or applicable law permits it, you must not download or extract songs, record streams, copy, redistribute, re-upload, resell, or bypass access controls. Temporary buffering and caching performed by our player for normal authorized playback are permitted.

Confirmed unauthorized downloading or other prohibited use will result in immediate termination of access. We will close the account and process its deletion under our account deletion policy, including subscription handling and any legally required retention. We reserve the right to pursue further legal remedies available under applicable law. To request permission or report unauthorized use, email support@mybstudio.app.

Website price and renewal

The website membership costs $0.99 a month or $9.99 a year, as US-dollar base prices.

One month free on the website. Create an account and confirm your email. No card, no payment, no automatic charge. After your free month, a paid subscription is required to continue: $0.99/month or $9.99/year.

One welcome month per account without previous subscription history. Existing unpaid accounts receive their month from the offer launch. New accounts receive it from signup. Your account shows the end date. Existing paid subscriptions keep their current terms.

The free month ends automatically without a charge. To continue, choose and pay for a subscription. Only a paid subscription renews automatically; cancel it through Account → Manage billing.

Stripe may offer local-currency conversion at checkout in supported countries. The checkout shows the amount and currency before you pay; the conversion rate includes Stripe’s fee, and your bank may apply its own charges. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If a price ever changes, you will be told by email at least 30 days before it applies to you.

Cancelling

App subscriptions: manage or cancel a Google Play purchase in Google Play subscriptions, or an Apple purchase in Apple subscriptions. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled under the store’s terms. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. There is nothing to cancel for existing no-card welcome access.

You can cancel any time from your account page ("Manage billing"). Cancelling turns off renewal; your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund a paid period or reverse a payment already being processed.

Refunds

For an app purchase, refund requests are handled under the policies of Google Play or Apple, depending on where you paid. Contact us if you need help identifying the purchase. The following Stripe refund policy applies to website purchases.

If something went wrong — you were charged twice, you couldn't sign in or play anything after paying, or you cancelled and were still billed — email us within 30 days and we will refund the charge. We don't refund partial months or years after you've had access, except where the law requires it. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 business days.

Payments

Website payments are processed by Stripe. In-app purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple. We never see or store your card number; we receive the account, payment and subscription information needed to manage membership, as described in our privacy notice. Website charges appear from MYB Studio; store purchases appear according to the store’s billing description.

Your account

One MYB account works for the website and the app. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. If a card payment fails, we'll let you know and try again; if it keeps failing, access pauses until it goes through.

Moving to the app

App membership includes website access, so you never need both. If you want to move from the website to the app, turn off website renewal, keep listening here until your paid period ends, then subscribe in the app. That way you are never charged for both at once.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
